Overview:
A leading cloud-based bussiness solution company reached out to WSI reagding a Reverse Osmosis system to treat their bore hole water. The Customer was desperate to find a solution in making their borehole water fit for human consumption after a previous supplier installed and RO system which unfortunatley did not meet their purified water requirements. Seeking an innovative solution, they turned to WSI, a trusted provider of water solutions, to address their water treatment needs.
Our team of experts immediatley rised to the challenge as we knew we had to act fast due to the Customer being based in the drough stricken Eastern Cape.
Challenge:
Once the results of tne analysis of the borehole water sample was available, there was noted that this was an extreme case where the water contained life threatening levels of bacteria and E.Coli. The levels of bacteria and E.Coli were 2410 and 23 times higher respectivley than deemed fit by SANS for human consumption.
Due to the water being used for washing and drinking in the office block, we knew that we needed to make 100 pecent sure that no live Coliform was able to pass through the system. Additionally, the company sought to align the installation to sustainable practices to reduce their environmental footprint.
Solution:
WSI, with their expertise in water solutions, recommended the installation of a tailored Reverse Osmosis system. The RO system offered a comprehensive approach to water treatment, delivering high-purity permeate while minimizing waste and reducing overall costs.
Specilaized equipment was sourced to kill all bacteria to a molecular size to ensure that no harmfull Coliforms can pass the system and the permeate is deemed safe for human consumption.
Implementation:
In conjunction with the Customer, a special room was constructed to house the tailored Reverse Osmosis system, including all pre- and post-filtration equipment. WSI’s team of expert Technicians ensured that the quality and workmanship of the installation exceeded the Customers expectations.
Result:
Following the implementation of WSI’s Reverse Osmosis system, the permeate was tested by two independent SANS accredited Labs and the results proved the water was fit for human consumption. This once again proves the expertise that WSI delivers to their Customers, effective water treatment solutions.
The analysis results also proved that the RO system effectively removed the impurities, contaminants, and dissolved solids from the borehole water, ensuring a consistent supply of high-quality permeate.
The Customer was also ensured that WSI’s 24-hour support team provides ongoing assistance, ensuring the smooth operation of the RO system. Prompt maintenance and troubleshooting services ensures seamless operations of the RO System.
The Customer also decided to sign a Service Level Agreement with WSI, where weekly health checks are performed on the RO to ensure all operations are running within the Customer’s required needs.
Conclusion:
By partnering with WSI and implementing their Reverse Osmosis solution, the Customer was able to make use of the borehole water for human consumption. The advanced RO system delivered high-purity water, reduced costs, and promoted environmental sustainability.
